Ocean-Spider™ is the Maritime Cyber Security Platform developed in-house by Ocean Connect. It provides real-time shipboard network monitoring of traffic and device status, raises alerts on anomalies, and keeps running on board even when the satellite link is down.
Collects traffic, CPU, and memory of firewalls, switches, and servers via SNMP every few seconds and graphs them, along with availability and sensor status.
Shows who is using the expensive, narrow satellite link — by device, service, and country — aggregated from firewall session logs without touching OT devices.
Draws the network map automatically from firewall snapshots and session logs, tracking link status and new hosts.
Alerts on policy violations, expired certificates, and unobserved devices, and generates evidence and submission checklists for class cyber security rules.
