Marine GPS Receiver
A marine GPS antenna receiver that outputs NMEA 0183 position data, with a waterproof body and 10m cable as standard.

The GP-180/280 is a marine GPS receiver with the receiving module built into the antenna. Its high-density waterproof construction and UV-resistant material are intended for exposed deck locations. It connects easily to equipment that takes NMEA-0183 input, with RS-232 as standard and USB or RS-422 as options.
Antenna and receiving module are one unit, so NMEA data is output without a separate receiver.
High-density waterproof structure made from UV-resistant material.
RS-232 is standard, with USB and RS-422 as options to suit the connected equipment.
A plastic bracket and steel band are supplied, with 10m of RG-58CU cable (BNC or TNC) as standard.

Where It's Used
Mount in an open-sky position to feed position data to navigation equipment.
Add a position source for equipment that needs an NMEA input alongside the existing GPS. It is not a substitute for statutory navigation equipment.
Connect via RS-232 or USB to PC-based monitoring equipment that uses vessel position.
